TURNING OF THE WHEEL

HONOURING THE ELEMENTS AND MOTHER NATURE

TURNING OF THE WHEEL
2.5-3 Hrs / 6-12 Women

Throughout the ages, as far back as pre-history, women have been at the forefront of observances and the rituals and ceremonies of these sacred moments in our calendar referred to as sabbats.

The meaning, ‘turning of the wheel’ refers to the developing, unfolding or progressing of the yearly cycle of life and death; the waxing & waning of Earth’s cycles that surrounds us from one season to another and the points in between.

The 8 traditional sabbats that weave the natural world together dating back to ancient times are: Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Luhnasadh, Mabon, Samhain, and Yule.

As women-gather on these pivotal times of the year, we’ll set thoughtful & positive intentions for our own lives, the community in which we live and the world around us.

Not only focusing on our outer landscape but our inner landscape as well.

Through kind ritual and paying tribute to Mother Nature we will build a sweet altar, cultivate sisterhood through meaningful activities and celebrate the season.

I invite you to come with an open heart and open mind and in return I hope for you to leave grounded, connected and inspired.
